Jenni & Brenden....otherwise known privately as Wide-bodied Woman & Leech Boy and subsequently, The Fighter & The Chess Boy on the trail.......left Melbourne, Australia on Jenni's 46th birthday to trek the Annapurna Circuit. Brenden was 14 and a half. After crossing the 5,416metre pass at Thorung La we quit at Jomson and flew back to Pohkara. Next time - all the way around! This was our first trek and we are both hooked. This blog resulted from the written journal I kept on the circuit, and here it is - warts and all.
