Camino de Santiago: 500 miles, and some

About this blog

Dear friends and family,

As some of you know, I have decided to take the last part of this summer to walk the Camino de Santiago, the Camino Frances route. This route runs from Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port in France to Santiago de Compostela in northwestern Spain and is about 800 km long. I am also planning of walking the extra 100 km or so of the Camino Finisterre, which leads from Santiago de Compostela to the coast, which was long considered to be the "end of the world."

I am so excited for this adventure and want all of you to be able to follow me along it (if you feel so inclined!). There should be internet cafes at times along the camino, so I will try to update this travelogue as much as possible! Please feel free to post comments or to e-mail me!
