The trips to India, Laos and Vietnam were mainly carried out on guided personal tours organised with travel companies on the internet. In Thailand and NZ on the other hand we hired a car and did our own thing. We pre-booked hotels in Thailand before leaving the UK via Asia Rooms while in NZ we stayed in motels which were either booked a day or two ahead or as we turned up. We again used the Flightcentre to organise all of our flights. They spent hours on our behalf and we were thankful for their expertise. Our main flights were with Emirates which we found provided excellent service on each of our many flights.
