About this blog
With the travelling bug well and truly embedded deep within my soul it's time after 2 cold months at home to jet off again, this time South America is the destination!
First stop will be Rio for the much acclaimed Carnival that begins the day after I arrive. Then after a few days of samba and caipirinhas Christine makes her way via Chile to Brazil's capital and the fun really begins.
The plan is to spend about 2 weeks in each country starting with Brazil then onto Argentina, Chile, Peru, Colombia (possibly) then back across the continent through Bolivia. Along the way we will be sampling the delights of Copacabana Beach, Machu Picchu, Iguazu falls, Death Road, Bolivian Salt Flats and a whole lot more.
If after that there is still time and money LA may be on the cards with a road trip across the states to NYC before boarding a plane back to London!
Now I must go find that phrase book and brush up on my Spanish and Portuguese....
