About this blog

Well....this is to be my blog for my once in a life time trip to Africa, visiting ten countries between August and October 2011. Perhaps a little premature to be creating things like this, but I'm excited!

Other than the game drives in many of the National Parks in search of the Big 5, my itinerary so far also includes: white water rafting on the Zambezi, sky diving in Swakopmund, bungee jumping at Victoria Falls, scuba diving in Zanzibar, hot air ballooning over the Serengeti and visiting the critically endangered Mountain Gorilla's during a jungle trek through Uganda and Rwanda. I will also be visiting a number of conservation and community projects where I hope to help out as much as I can do.

It's still a bit of a way off yet, so back to the planning!
