The South and East Part I
About this blog
Once upon a time there was a young man who travelled from the bustling city of Buenos Aires to the slums of Caracas; his name was...Che Guevara.
58 years later, two new adventurers are aiming to complete the same feat but only this time they don't have a trusty motorbike and all they have now is a pair of rucksacks, some hastily learnt Spanish and 'The Rough Guide to South America On A Budget' (RRP £19.99), to enable them to explore unchartered waters.
Assuming this first chapter is completed without severe injury, it's onward to Southeast Asia. We will be greeted by a crystal blue ocean, Thai sandy white beaches and plentiful palm trees...until, of course, we wake up in hot and humid Vietnam. This round trip will be completed by venturing through the rural villages and small towns of Indonesia.
