Hey all! I am leaving the United States Tuesday, December 29, 2009 to go study abroad at the National University of Singapore for the Spring semester. Singapore is a city-state off the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula. It is the smallest nation in Asia with a population of 5 million. It has four national languages, English, Malay, Mandarin Chinese, and Tamil.
NUS is the largest university in Singapore with over 32,000 students. It was ranked 33 in the Times Higher Education Supplement's World University Rankings 2007 and the Faculty of Engineering ranked 8th in the World's top 100 in Technology according to the THES 2006 World Ranking in the field of technology. Wish me luck!
