This is about our visits to Valparai in 2010, 2011 and the latest in December 2012.

Valparai is a pretty little tea plantation town situated on a mountain plateau in the Anamallai range of the Western Ghats. District: Coimbatore State: Tamil Nadu

Surrounded by tea estates Valparai not surprisingly, is a major tea trading centre. Coffee and black pepper are also grown in small quantities on some estates.

Lion tailed macaques, Nilgiri tahr, Great Hornbills, Elephants, Bisons and several other species of fauna and flora abound.
