My extensive experience in Morocco Desert Merzouga
About this blog
Hey, the truth is that I have delayed a little in my extensive experience in Morocco With " Mouhoutours Travels "because I went there on 11 November but never too late.
My friends and I were thinking about going to Morocco from last year but due to problems of vacation days we have not until this year and we think that repeat at Easter.
We search the Internet to see what was said in the forums so we can realize our route because we wanted to do it on our own is more exciting and we were told that the country is safe. Finally spoke with a Berber guide and told him we wanted to do and gave us his opinion and has been amazing.
I tell you the route if you are interested, we went to Marrakech and we look for in a 4x4 to take us to a very close RIAD Fna Square Ma Jaa was pretty well priced and very nice. The next day we would come out into the desert road, we were excited but we did not know what we would find. The road to a very nice addition Ouazarzate had snow and the mountains looked a little white, ate a grilled meat stand in a place where the great-taxis and follow the path.
We spent the night in a hotel for the next day Ouazarzate walk around town and go to the Kasbah of Ait Benhadout and continue the route towards the Gorges of Todgha where we would spend the night. We wanted to sleep there because we had read that it is better to leave in the morning to walk a while before they get all the tourist buses and it was true. Then we took a track to go to the Gorges of the Dades Todgha, very nice view and we continue to Errachidia (see the palm trees) and finally reach the dunes of Erg Chebbi where we spent the night in a shelter.
It was fun because the Berbers were playing drums, dancing and singing as well be having tea with them while telling us how they lived their families.
The next day we were watching the dunes routes to Dakar in the evening take a camel, reach an oasis, watching the sunset and spend the night sleeping in a tent full of blankets because it was quite cold at night. The next day we returned to the hostel for a shower and continue to give us the way to Zagora where we spent the night and the next day go back to Ouazarzate to see the Valley of Dra, very nice to see the sunset on the road and stop at some viewpoints.
Now back to Marrakech we went through Telouet, lunch and saw the kasbah. The last two nights we were in Marrakech staying at the Riad the first day and enjoying its souks.
I hope you have been helpful and I animéis to visit this country so close and so different.
