About this blog

The conclusion of my Taiwan travel log has left me with entirely too much time on my hands, so I have decided to go back in time and document my Fall 1999 semester abroad in Freiburg, Germany. Using saved emails (current commentary will appear in brackets) and my parents' scanner, I will attempt to recreate the experience in retrospect. Why am I doing this, you ask? Mostly because my Taiwan log only has me listed as having traveled 4% of the world, and we all know that that is just a blatant lie! So, to set the record straight, here's a little mini log on my first experience living abroad in Germany.
