From my last volunteer project in Arequipa to trekking in Cusco, the Andes and to saying goodbye to Peru

About this blog

Based in Sachaca, a pueblo joven on the outskirts of Arequipa, i'm teaching Spanish, sceince, art and a little english , to grade one. Eight cute little bundles of joy. Wiping snotty noses, washing there hair and making sure they clean there teeth too. It's very rewarding and equally tiring. the background of the family life is something we can but only guess, and then guess again. So we never know which kids will be distant or not even turn up, becuase of problems in the home, or being made to work in the surrounding fields to earn those extra sols. But it's fair to say , what we do , the rewards, we find God in Arequipa. As for the trekking, oh lucky me. Godīs mountains and a train trip coming up too. Then further south
