Discovering Sicily

Welcome to our travel blog. There will be entries from Kathi Sale and Judy Hunt as we explore Sicily. We will be traveling with a tour group that has been formed through Tarleton State University Langdon Center. The arrangements of where we stay and what we do each day have been made by the group planners. Our hotel will be in Marsala, Sicily and we will stay there all week and travel out to neighboring towns and sites each day.
Our travels will begin at 1. DFW airport flying to 2. Boston, Mass. Overnight flight to 3. Rome, Italy then to 4. Palermo, Sicily. A bus will take us to Marsala. The total duration of all the flights will be about 15 hrs.
The time zone in Sicily is 7 hours later than Texas time zone.
