Travelling 2 weeks with a rental car through Nicaragua, a large diversity of land formations in a small accessible area. Two weeks is short, but we did and see a lot! Did some sightseeing in the colonial cities of Léon and Granada, went hiking on volcanoes and observed active craters, swam in the Pacific Ocean and even in a crater lake, walked in tropical cloud forests... And last but not least, we are so charmed by the kindness and the hospitality of the Nicaraguan people!

Hay mucho para descubrir: hospitalidad auténtica, bonitas ciudades coloniales, playas solitarias, y una naturaleza grandiosa!

Twee weken met een huurauto doorheen Nicaragua: wat een belevenis, wat een prachtig land! We verkennen strand, zee en mangroves in de Pacifische regio, beklimmen indrukwekkende vulkanen, wandelen in de bergachtige regio rond Jinotega/Matagalpa, snuiven van het koloniale verleden in Granada en Léon.. En steeds opnieuw staan we versteld van de ongedwongen vriendelijkheid van het Nicaraguaanse volk!
