About this blog
Before the age of digital camera, I set off on my open ticket around the world , with an automatic menolta camera and a sketch book and pencil. I have allways enjoyed photography and fancied myself an artist, well , creative i suppose, and on my travels decided to draw or paint people and places that stood out for me.I now have a lovely collection of sketches and pictures that i have waited over 15 years to compile!! In that time techno has taken over, I now have a Nikon digital reflex which is fabulous, but then i would have collected millions instead of hundreds of pictures and i think it would be rather boring to see them all.Photos are great , i love them , but now looking back over 15 years my paintings bring it all back............
