Japan was never on my list when i set off for OZ, but a chance meeting with a girl in thailand , and stories of' pavements laid of gold' drew me there. Ididnt know where I was going to , where I was going to stay, I certainly did'nt realise quite how expensive everything was!! and I only had a few hundred pounds and a return to HK. Well it is true that when you travel you are never alone, as we travelers are all in the same boat and when we spot each other we stand out rather! So me looking dazed, by japanese signs , with a 60 klo backpack on my back immediatly caught the eye of a 'Gyging'' forigner . Hi , ''he said, are you looking for somewhere to stay?
