Around the World Hypertravel: Anatolia, Horn of Africa, and North Europe

About this blog

London is probably the best place in the world from which to see the rest of it. Flights are cheap, and so is the pound sterling right now gainst the dollar. Not only do Ryanair and EasyJet bring Europe closer, but flights to Africa are cheaper from there than other African cities. From LA to London, I'll then do a Turkish Air flight to Ethiopia with a stop back in Istanbul, from which I'll seek out the Caucasus. From Ethiopia I'll try to see Somaliland, Djibouti, and hopefully Eritrea. Then I'll do a quick tour of the Scandinavian and Baltic countries before heading back to the US. Welcome to hyper-travel. Wish me luck.
