1986 is the first year that I try selling at a wholesale trade show, the San Francisco Gift Fair. I've know about them for years, and attended one in LA as a Buyer as early as1984, but am only now getting around to trying one. In general, they're not cheap, though by modern standards this first one in San Francisco is quite reasonable. The fact that I'm living across the bay doesn't hurt, either. This is the first year that Lupita and I haven't traveled over the winter season, too. I guess maybe that's all over now. We'll see. This is business.
