During our flight back from Europe on our honeymoon, Leo and I were looking through binoculars at Iceland and said "look, there's roads there!" One day Leo plopped a magazine in front of me with an article of a couple guys touring Iceland on motorbikes....the plans began. We flew the bikes and ourselves to Amsterdam. We had 2.5 days to get to Bergen, Norway which was 2300 km away. Tick tock, let's rocknroll. Got to the ferry (which departs once a week) with 15 mins to spare. Iceland is modern and is slowly gearing up for tourists. The landscape is very abstract reminding us of the moon. We are very fortunate to be one of the few people who have seen this beautiful place.
