OU College of Nursing travels to Guyana
About this blog
OU College of Nursing traveled to Guyana to meet nursing students at the University of Guyana, tour public and private hospitals, tour health centres, and visit majestic Kaieteur Falls. We also boated up a blackwater creek to an Arawak Amerindian village, meeting the village healthcare worker who also weaves baskets.
We met lovely, dedicated people and toured pristine rainforests. We saw macaws, Amazon parrots, toco toucans, and howler monkeys in the jungle. Until I make it back, here is Guyana:
