Our Canadian Trip June 2010

We will be driving our first day about 10 hours to Seattle, WA. Where we will spend the following day taking in the sights....Space Needle & Pike's Place Mkt.

We will be driving on to Valemount, British Columbia (just to spend the night - but I hear is very pretty so watch for pictures)

Then we will be moving on to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada the following day. We are planning on spending a few days visiting the West Edmonton Mall the former LARGEST mall in the WORLD...but now Beijing trumps the Canadians. ;o( Still there is a great amusement park - Galaxyland, a water park - Water World, an Aquarium, an indoor skate park, an ice skating rink and a giant replica of the Santa Maria - Christopher Columbus' ship - not to mention all the theme areas of the mall itself - ALL OF IT INDOORS including a Hotel!

Then we are on to Calgary, Albert, Canada to check out the Canadian Moto-X Nationals and Heritage Plaza which is an old time museum amusement type park with people dressed in 1800s garb. I would like to go to the Zoo there - they have a 1yr old Gorilla and over 2000 animals that we don't normally see in the states....It should be fun.

We will finish up our vacation in Banff National Park in Banff, Albert, Canada.
