Hi there everyone, I have been a part of the first Canadian Tchoukball team where we were invited for the world championship in Loughborough, GB in 2002. There was 8 teams total, but the experience was out of this world. On the first night there, we were 6 countries, 250 people on the soccer field, no teams, no language of understanding but only one soccer ball to kick and everybody played together to have fun. It was my first experience of no caring of losing and winning, just fun and learning of other cultures just by reading body language. Quite impressive! We finished tied 3rd in men's category and 1st in the mixted team. A first experience that I will never forget.
