We are on the road for 2009, the 3rd leg of the "Goodrich Odyssey" to continue to catch glimpses of the planet we live on. Our next stop is southern Africa for about 6 months of via planes, buses, cars, and by foot to see the overwhelming display of geographical, ecological, and cultural diversity that the southern part of this vast continent has to offer.

It all begins in South Africa and moves to Lesotho, Swaziland, Namibia, Botswana, and Zimbabwe. We hope to experience the world's largest "free range" of wild animal populations, with large carnivores (such as lions, hyenas, and cheetahs) and herbivores (such as buffalo, deer, elephants, and giraffes). These sites will be blended together with the city and rural life
