I traveled to Canada's and America's most affluent and progressive cities in the summer of 2009. I am preparing to become an Urban and Regional City Planner and these experiences were priceless. I met a lot of intelligent individuals and a lot of stupid individuals.

I am happy President Obama has invested billions in high speed rail and Amtrak. As we invest more into our train systems, we will begin to run them as efficiently and cheaply as the Eurorail. I believe train mass transit will be part of the solution to global warming and high gas prices.

I hope you enjoy my blog at least 10% as much as I enjoyed the trip.
