Hi everyone and thanks for taking the time to check up on me and my cycle touring adventure.

The general idea is to get on my bike and ride, firstly from London to Amsterdam (because I haven't been there yet), 'do as the Romans do' (because I haven't done that yet), and then head South eastish, bisecting Switzerland, popping out the other side and head for Venice.

I'd like to make it perfectly clear that I fully reserve the right to ride to the nearest airport at any time and fly home.

From Venice, I'm gonna make it up as I go - if I get that far at all. All you have to do is sit back and keep checking up on me.
