The unions of journalists of Yugoslavia and the USSR cooperated, on paper, according documents called "protocols". The signing and the contents of the document were in principle a formality. On the other hand - meeting with Viktor Afanasjev, president of their union, was a rare opportunity because he was also the editor of "Pravda" the official mouthpiece of the Kremlin and member of the CC of the CPSS. Real big fish. So, I went
