Hi Everyone:

We made a similar trip in 1974 and will be renewing many very old friends, acquaintances and relatives. Our vacation involves time spent in England, Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Italy and France. It includes a 12 day Mediterranean cruise as well as a 7 day self-drive bed and breakfast tour of Ireland. If anything goes wrong on this trip, it's all on me! I planned, booked and paid for the whole thing on the Internet. I hope my first time attempt at a travelogue meets with at least some success and you will be able to enjoy, learn from and more than likely be critical of the effort.
