Austin to Houston then overnight to London-Heathrow. A Shower in the BMI Club then on to Cairo. Arriving Cairo approximately 4:45pm. We stayed at the Four Seasons Nile Plaza. In Cairo we visited not just the Giza Plateau but several outlying Tombs, Temples and The Egyptian Museum. We then flew to Luxor and boarded our river cruiser the St. Georges I. Several stops along the Nile such as Valley of the Kings and Queens. Edfu and Karak. From Asswan we flew to Abu Simbel then back to Cairo and on to Sharm El Sheik on the Red Sea. Next stop was Amman, Jordan and a trip to Petra. From Amman to Israel and stayed at the King David while touring the country. What a place and what a trip. We are very grateful for this opportunity.
