After accepting my friend Wenka´s invitation to come and visit her in the south of India many many years ago, and so inadvertently stumbling upon a means of traveling which has proven highly addictive, I decided to extract myself from the shackles of responsibility of employed life and finally follow the idea I first had way back then: to pack a backpack and boldly go where plenty of people have been many times before, but maybe for just a tad longer...

So, armed with 15 kilos of luggage, two cameras, and a lifeline to Holland, I'm setting off on a once in a lifetime journey. Let's see what's out there...
