A 2-week trip down the Carretera Austral in Chilean Patagonia. For logistical reason, I first travelled the southern part of the highway between the airport of Balmaceda down to Caleta Tortel, then after a break in Coyhaique (the capital of the Aysen region of Chile) and a cruise on the fiords to the famed San Rafael Glacier, I went up north from Coyhaique to Parque Pumalin (Chaiten). The last part of my journey was supposed to go from Chaiten to Puerto Montt but this changed due to weather conditions.
