Expectations and Pre-Boarding In deciding upon a fall vacation, various destinations such as New Orleans, Mexico and Florida were prime candidates. However a couple of birds named Katrina and Wilma thought otherwise. I decided, after consultation with Bill (the other fellow that will be making appearances in this flog), that the combination of warm, dry weather and that I had never been to California before sealed San Francisco and Napa Valley as the destination of choice. As a primer to the California Crusin' 2005 tour, it was decided to take a couple days in Vancouver and Whistler prior to going down south.
