The trip visiting the rural Guizhou and the Miao Minority Villages was a fantastic experience. China Highlights could organise the tour for the days that we had available and responded to messages very quickly. The trip was organised from Australia. The rural life saw the families harvesting the rice and we were able to witness their hard work and even participate in it if we chose. We walked through villages and witnessed weaving of traditional cloth, traditional production of paper, creating silver adornments for traditional costumes, and the traditional costumes up close. The villages, the villagers and their way of life could only be appreciated by being up close and a part of them. We also witnessed tradional Miao dancing.
