On June 16, 2010, students studying Japanese at Franklin High School in Franklin, Wisconsin will be setting out for our bi-annual Study in Japan trip. After we arrive in Japan we will stay overnight near Narita International Airport, before setting off for a five night homestay in Niihama, Japan.

After that we'll visit Miyajima Island near Hiroshima, and the Peace Park in downtown Hiroshima. Next we'll spend two days exploring Kyoto and Nara. In Kyoto, we will visit the Imperial Palace, Kinkaku-ji, Kiyomizu-dera, and Sanjusangendo..

Finally, we'll head to Tokyo where will visit the Ginza, Odaiba, Ikebukuro, Shinjuku, Harajuku, Shibuya, Akihabara, Asakusa, and Ueno. One day we'll also head out of the city and visit Kamakura.

Our flight back leaves Narita on Wednesday, June 30 in the late afternoon. We get back to Franklin around 10 PM that same day.
