My first trip to Asia - visiting a girlfriend from Germany I haven't seen in 15 or more years. She lives and works in Shanghai and invited me at the beginning of the year. After figuring out how to fit this into my work & vacation schedule I decided to brave the cooler (or cold) weather at the end of November to make use of the Thanksgiving Holiday. My sweet hubby was invited too but declined and told me to have a fabulous time ! I am planning a 2 day side trip to Beijing - When in China one MUST see the Great Wall, right?
