After 17 yrs of marriage, 12 yrs of parenting, 16 yrs of Ross working at Berkshire Partners & to mark Emily's "forever 39th," we decided to take a family adventure together. As we prepare to leave, we feel mixed feelings, but mostly a sense of freedom as we detach from ordinary life. We will be traveling around the US & a little in the DR & Canada. For our "homeschooling" our main focus is following in the footsteps of the European explorers & the "trail of tears" of the Native Americans. Everywhere we go, we hope to explore some natural wonders, visit friends along the way, connect with the many stories within the great American Story...& hopefully learn about ourselves as human beings.We would love to stay in touch & share our musings!
