China 2008-2009

Patty, Lauren, Robyn and I took a short trip to Beijing over our Christmas vacation. We flew from Seoul to Beijing. We took a bus to Beijing train station where our hostel was. The first day of our trip was a tour to the Great Wall and then to the Ming Tombs. Once the tour was finished, we walked to Tian an men Square. The second day started at the Forbidden City. From there we walked to the Sacred Walkway. We walked around the Hutongs, visiting the Bell Tower and the Drum Tower. In the evening we we to an acrobat show. The third day was spent at Jingsin Park and Beihai Park and then, the Summer Palace. New Year's Day was spent at the Lama Temple, the Temple of Heaven and then the silk markets.
