Ekati Diamond mine 300 km North East of Yellowknife. Furthest North I've ever been, land of the Midnight Sun, Northern lights, polar bears... a barren, yet rich landscape.

About this blog

Well, not long after getting home from Morocco I'm told to head North. Look up - look wayyyyyyy up! There, here I am in Ekati Diamond Mine, 300 km Northeast of Yellowknife. Not too many people come up this way, or really get to I guess. It's interesting, crazy being up this far North. The days are LONG! Not a tree in sight here far from the tree line. End of May and still cold. This place is very different from anywhere I've ever been in my life.
