Purush Pal is a village in Beanibazar Upazila, Sylhet district, Bangladesh.
== History == :
The name Purush Pal came from Poresh Pal, a group of Hindu Religious (Pal) tribes who lived in the village during the 13th century. After Islam was introduce by Hazrat Shah Jalal in Sylhet City and Bangladesh, Muslims started to move into the village and the original inhabitants slowly sold their homes and started to move to India and other parts of the country. The name was then changed from Poresh Pal to Purush Pal.

Purush Pal Village is located in Mathiura Union, Beanibazar Upazila, at 24°49′30″N 92°09′45″E / 24.8250°N 92.1625°E / 24.8250; 92.1625.
== Location ==:
Village Purush Pal are located to Union: Mathiura Bazar, Upazila: Beani Bazar,City: Sylhet, Bangladesh. It is a lovely village. It is the last west side village (border of) Beani Bazar Upazila.It is located to east side of sylhet .
== Demographics ==:
As of the 1991 Bangladesh census, Village Purush Pal had a population of around 5000, 49.5% of whom are male and 50.5% are female. Around 55.2% of the population are over the age of 18. Purush Pal village has an average literacy rate of 30.4% (7+ years) compared to the national average of 32.4%. The total area of around 25 km². There are around 5000 people / around 200 families living in this village.
Purush Pal village is divided into three parts, called Mazor (middle or west), Pubor (east) and Kuna (south). Most people in Purush Pal practice Islam.
Purush Pal is one of the Villages in Sylhet which has the largest numbers of expatriates living in the UK, USA, Canada and other countries.[citation

The true development behind the Purush Pal village is the residence of Purush Pal who are living in the UK.The residence of Purush Pal who are living in the UK,Their thinking/Supporting about the develops of the Purush Pal and their help was very important.In a word, without their thinking/Supporting/help Purush Pal would not be a nice and well established village.
It is a lovely village to live in. Even though lots of peoples are living aboard but they never forgot to visit Purush Pal.
We proud myself to born in such a lovely village.
