Larry and I wanted to go to Chile and Argentina since travelling to Peru and Bolivia in 2001. Now we have our chance! Our plan is to arrive in Santiago, spend a few days getting used to Chile life and then head south. We have no set tours but have a wish list of places to see and things to do. We will probably travel by bus between centres and then do what the locals suggest. We will try to go as far south as Patagonia and then back north along the Argentine coast. We are aware that 7 weeks seems long but know that it will fly by and we will not be able to do everything. Quite a few friends and family suggested that we continue this blog so we will try to make an entry after each segment of our trip. I hope you will enjoy it.
