Jim and Dawn have finally taken the plunge and are taking their 1967 sailboat from PYC in Bensalem to the wide open Chesapeake. Exciting? Yes. Daunting? Yes. Scarey? You bet! We've had the boat for two seasons but have not sailed much at all. We are extreme novices and have had zero lessons. We are not about to sail around the world:) Just leaving the realitive safety of the river will keep our hearts beating fast. I hope to add to our blog during the trip using Jim's new iPad. I'm not sure if we'll be able to upload photos while underway. If not they'll be loaded as soon as the voyage ends. Anchors away!
