To celebrate finishing the-joy-that-is-med-school, the family is taking a trip to Scotland and England. When I was Emily's age, my family lived in Scotland for a year. In fact, the picture on the left is me in my primary 6 (5th grade) school uniform. (Yes, I tied my own tie.) I got to visit again in high school, but haven't been back since. Paul and I decided that returning would be a great way to celebrate. Paul has never been out of North America/Caribbean and Emily's never been out of the country, so this'll be quite the adventure.
