Belize, Guatemala and Mexico Adventure 2010!

About this blog

A new Central American adventure begins on April 8th. I will be traveling for a total of 3 months in Belize, Guatemala and Mexico. Mexico will be my full return to dolphin assisted therapy with Living From The Heart. I will be starting my travels with my boyfriend Rey, who some of my lovely friends may recognize ; ). Rey became my boyfriend after he left Fred Finch Youth Center last year. We will be spending about 2 weeks off the coast in Belize bouncing around on Belize's infamous cayes (islands) in the Caribbean. I will also be celebrating my 27th birthday there! YAY! That will make 4 years in a row that I have been in a foreign country for my birthday. Rey and I will be leaving Belize and traveling for about 2 weeks in Guatemala, before Rey has to return to Cali in May. When Rey leaves I will be settling down to study Spanish in Antigua and San Pedro, Guatemala. After a good few weeks of Spanish studies I will be headed north to Mexico; hopefully making it to Cozumel by the end of May. Living From The Heart will be providing dolphin assisted therapy in June, August, October and November this year. I will be the therapy assistant for the full month of June, enjoying the beautiful island of Cozumel located right smack in the Caribbean Ocean off the south eastern portion of Mexico! We will be doing our therapy at Dolphinaris dolphin center on Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays. The rest of the week I will be exploring the surrounding areas.

Words can't describe how excited I am to be traveling again, and how much it means to me to be doing dolphin therapy again. Even as I write this my stomach flutters anxiously and my heart begins to dance. I look forward to sharing my experiences at every step of my adventure with you! Please feel free to write comments along the way! :)
