This travelogue is designed to keep friends and family up to date with my adventures over the forthcoming year - well that is the intention; if I manage to stick to it is another matter.

With my 30th birthday fast approaching and the monotony of daily life slowly breaking my nomadic tendancies, I felt that a year out would be a very much welcome respite. With my girlfriend Naomi having the opportunity to work in various countries throughout the year, there really was no better time in which to pack our bags and say Žbon voyageŽ.
