About this blog

Sunderban, the largest deltas in the world lies in india and bangladesh of which one third is in India and two third is in bangladesh. It is now known as World Heritage site and it is declared Sunderban Tiger Researve in India.

Recently, I have travelled by motor boat. One can get entry into the sunderban from Canning and Godkhali. Both the entry point is easily accessable by road from Esplanade,Kolkata. Canning is also connected by Local from Sealdah Station.

All most all the canals and its tributeries are connected with back water from Bay of Bengal. Almost 40 Islands are given permission to be inhabited and rest of islands are free for the Royal Bengal Tigers.

The Tiger, Spotted Dear, Crocodile, Pig, Gharial, Kamot are the wildlifes in the sunderban. The Siberian Birds visit this deltas in the advent of Winter. They make their nests and stay here till end of February. The Royal Bengal Tigers who are the natural swimer often enjoy to make entry into the locality. Olive Ridle always comes far from the Atlantic Ocean to lay eggs returned with their kids staying here for three to four months.

Fishes and Crabs also are available. Everyone can have the test with these.

There are no entries for this trip yet.
