Eurotrashed! El Camino de Santiago and Beyond!
About this blog
Finally, the time has come to dip our toes in the murky languages and stormy pastas of Europe for more than a mere week or two. In a typical attempt to have whatever we want whenever we want it we are following a somewhat ridiculous route starting with the f*#king fairytale canals, bridges, old buildings and such of Bruges, Belgium, before heading way east to Croatia, then backtracking to Italy. From there it's all the way to France where we'll kick off the Camino de Santiago - 35 or so days of hiking across northwestern Spain - then sneak into Portugal for a few days of unfettered Portugasms, then a quick flight to spend a month amid the craggy shores of Madeira, recuperating and basking in its mild winter climatology. Should be amazing. And amazingly expensive, hence the long time coming.
Then, after spending Christmas back in Canada, probably back to Madeira, some time in Morocco, Greece and finish it off in the UK and probably some hiking in Ireland. Then home for some summer panhandling. Ciao.
