The Floods Take on Europe '07

About this blog

Foolishly we have decided to spend 4 weeks in Europe in Dec '07/Jan '08. Not only is it going to be short days and *#"#! weather, but we're going to have to drag indifferent children around historical sites they're not interested in on a daily basis.

The main excuse for the trip is the wedding at Castle Ripley on New Year's Eve, but we will have time in London and Yorkshire before that and Paris, then Rome afterwards.

Nicholas will be happy if he sees lots of trains, Connor will not really care as long as it's a "mum and dad" day. Hannah, I'm sure will surprise us. I'm hoping it will be with an interest in Impressionism, but it's more likely to be by learning obscenities in French.

I hope we can at least make the occasional update.
