I have always wanted to go to South America but I've been too intimidated because the only Spanish I know is from my freshman year of highschool ten years ago but after my Southeast Asia trip, I finally felt comfortable just going for it. I will be taking a few weeks of "survival Spanish" in Cusco, Peru and then I will travel around the continent for a few months. This trip is very open ended because I bought a one way ticket and I just finished grad school. The only limiting factor is money so I've got to be as thrifty as possible.
