They went to the Everest base camp

He like me thought it would be easy; it was far from it,

This is their experience

All the photos posted were taken by them

Four times they went to Kathmandu airport to take a flight out to Lukla, three times they returned, the conditions were just too dangerous for them to fly, high winds, snow, sleet, the airfield is on a slope, too slow, you crash before the airfield, too fast you hit the mountain at the end of the runway, the pilots are very specialised

They did eventually get there though
