This was a work trip indeed, my company sent me to Berlin for the ITB and I took some days to visit Istanbul, Prag and Madrid. I always wanted to visit Istanbul, it's always been the city of my dreams, and this came true. Istanbul is simply fascinating, every step you take in this wonderful place is a dive into history, Aghia Sofia is just breathtaking, the mosques such as the mighty Blue Mosque shine before your eyes, the palaces remind of the power of the Ottoman Empire, the markets give you exotic smells, turkish food is simply wonderful, modern Turkey a mixture of Asia and Europe. Prag was a pending "task", and she didn't disappoint me, one of the most romantic places I've ever been. Words just cannot describe such a great experience!
