Travelling the world for the over 60's but feeling like a 25 year old with money.
About this blog
On our last trip we headed West with a sea crossing on the Queen Mary 2 from Southampton to New York. Spending time in Cape Breton with a visit to one of the Graveyards where some of the Titanic victims were buried outside Halifax. An unforgetable train journey across Canada. Down the West Coast of the U.S.A. A train journey through the Copper Canyon in Mexico, arriving into Mexico City for the Centenary of the Revolution. Photographs taken at the Memorial to John Lennon erected by Castro in Havana. Fireworks in Miami to ring in 2011 A stop off in Easter Island and many other places on our 31 day voyage from Fort Lauderdale to Auckland on board Holland America's Ms Amsterdam. After seven weeks good walking in New Zealand it was time to head home via Singapore. So now, again we go West , this time heading for South America with South Africa, Australia, China , Alaska, Canada and the U.S.A. in our sights. You can view the last blog " London to Auckland Overland" for details on the last trip and wish us well as we set out on the 2nd Part of our world trip.
