About this blog
Manila is the capital of the Philippines. It is a great representation of who Filipinos are. For its share, Manila has witnessed a lot of the country's history being the seat of power since the 1500s.
This December and until next year, we'll be rediscovering more deeply Philippine culture and history through short walks in key areas of Metro Manila. One such walk is what Cultureight calls Rajah's Picnic and a Museum.
Here, day starts at the Museum of the Filipino People where your guide will tour you through rooms filled with pre-historic burial jars, ritual pieces, and intricately woven clothing. After which, we feast like a Rajah. Among others, Seared Quesong Puti (Fresh water buffalo cheese) and Ensalada stuffed Milkfish are on the menu.
